GILWEN is Prestwood’s home providing care for people with learning difficulties and / or mental health problems..

Y Gilwen is a recently refurbished home set in the historic town of Caernarfon. It is a short walk from the town centre where there is a full range of shops, the harbour, a beautiful castle and many fine places to eat and drink. It is within easy reach of the Snowdonia mountain range for walking and climbing.

                           The 3 separate sites on the Marina consist of a residential complex set in a beautiful part of North Wales, overlooking the Menai Straits and situated six miles from the university town and cathedral city of Bangor and six miles from the walled town of Caernarfon with its 13th Century castle
