Ty Llawen

TY LLAWEN is a home for people with Mental Health Difficulties situated outside Llandudno town, in the sea-view village of Craig-y-Don.

A three storey late Victorian house which is divided into four separate flats. Each flat consists of a living area, en-suite bathroom and kitchen.

All room sizes meet the requirements of NMC standards. Four service users currently reside in the home.

The house also has enjoys the benfits of its rear garden area, perfect for relaxing in. We have easy access to all organisations in the area that are working with people with mental health problems and/or learning disabilities. All staff attend internal training for all the conditions with which our residents present, we also undergo external training in First Aid (all support staff are first-aid trained), and a Foundation Course in Food Hygiene. All staff are also NVQ qualified to either level 2 or 3 in Promoting Independence or all actively working towards this qualification.
