Prestwood - Our Beginnings

Prestwood have recently been bought by CareTech Community Services who are based in Potters Bar in Hertfordshire

Prestwood was started 1997 by Sue and Lynda Hall. Together, they endeavoured to offer a service unlike any other available to our clients, ensuring they could live their lives to the fullest. This successful model has ensured the continued growth and prosperity of Prestwood for over a decade.

Seeing the success of Prestwood, CareTech showed their interest and our acquisition was completed in July 2010.  This enabled Lynda to retire and watch Prestwood grow in many different directions.

This is a very exciting time for us, most notably, we have become part of a very large ‘family’ with Caretech, we have been able to share our ideas and experiences with other CareTech businesses throughout the UK which has helped our outlook enormously.
